How do Green products work? Why are they better for us? Exactly what are Green Cleaning Products? What is a Micro-Fiber Cloth? Are there different kinds? How are they any different from a regular cotton cloth? Why would I use one?
Many consumers have asked these same questions. With many products making claims of being green how do we know what a truely Green product is? Once we have purchased it how do we learn to properly use it. The current rage or trend is all about Green cleaning. We all want to do our part to protect the environment, save the earth and at the same time protect our health.
First you have to take a look at the product itself. Learn how to understand the label. Does the product have a governmental approval, or is it just the product manufacturer telling you how wonderful it is? You also want to use the proper uses of the product. Does it require special attention in some way? How is the product maintained, and is it something that you could recycle?
WorldWide Oxide, a Minneapolis based company, is one firm that is helping its customers deal with these questions. It has partnered with the Illinois based Green Clean Institute to offer Green Clean Certification training classes. These courses are designed to educate the end line user on the procedures and use involved in GREEN products.
From courses on mold and mildew, courses on building maintainence, and supervisor courses there is something applicable to everyone. The common homemaker or the person that cleans for a living will find valuable information in these courses.
The student learns not only what type of Green cleaners to use, but why they are using them, and the proper techniques. Learn about micro-fiber cloths and how to identify the good ones from the lesser quality pieces.
These courses are all reasonably priced and designed to be consumer friendly. Knowledge is king, and with it you can create for yourself a better life. We have all used chemicals for many years that are not good for us. We know better now. It’s time to educate ourselves on proper product usage, both in the home and workplace.
